Great Lakes Medieval Faire
Photography, Illustration and Logo Design Contest

The King has requested all good people, of any age, to participate in a showcase of talents from your visit at the Great Lakes Medieval Faire.

Your artwork or photographs may be deemed worthy by decree of His Majesty and will garner in each contest, a $100.00 prize and two (2008) season passes for first place, a $50.00 prize and two (2008) season passes for second place and ten Most Honorable Mention winners, who will each win one (2008) season pass. However, rules of the Realm must be followed:

  • Enter as often as you like, but only 2007 Season photos or illustrations of the Great Lakes Medieval Faire will be accepted.

  • Photographs may be either black and white or color, using either a regular-optical camera or a digital camera. Submissions must be 5x7 or 8x10 and mounted on a lightweight board the same size as the photo, or matted. Submissions must have name, address, phone number and year printed on the back. Please do not laminate.

  • Upon entry of photos or art, the entrant grants all reproduction rights and the submission becomes sole property of Phoenix Productions, LLC and the Great Lakes Medieval Faire. Photo negatives may be requested by the faire.

    • Regular-Optical Cameras - submissions must be original prints; no photo copies or computer generated copies accepted.

    Digital Cameras - must be at least a 300dpi or higher. Digital photos must be submitted on a PC disk or CD in JPG, PDF or CDR file format, accompanied by a printed copy.

    Illustrations and logo designs - may be up to 12x18. All submissions must have name, address, phone number and year printed on the back upper left corner of the entry. A brief caption is acceptable, but not necessary.

    Deadline of all entries is September 30, 2007. (Winners will be notified prior to the 2008 Season.) Please note, only one winner per household will be delcared.
