The Great Lakes Medieval Faire is now hiring for its 2013 Season!

Audition Times:   Auditions will be held Saturday, April 27th, 2013, from 10am to 5pm

Audition Location:

Auditions will be held at the festival site (check the Directions page for details) - check in at the festival office when you arrive.

Audition Notes:

  • Please come prepared with a head shot or recent photo, resumé, and one-minute monologue of you choosing
  • Dress comfortably to be prepared to move - actors will be asked to participate in improvisational exercises
  • Anyone who wishes to demonstrate specific skills (singing, juggling, playing a musical instrument, stage combat, or any other skills) may do so at the time of audition
  • We are looking for Street cast, Peasants, Nobility, Fairies, etc.
  • Some cast members may also be in our in-house shows
  • Rehearsal Information:

  • Rehearsals are every Saturday and Sunday starting the first weekend in May, 2013
  • Depending on your role, it may not be necessary to attend all rehearsals
  • There may be additional rehearsals for stage combatants, and the in-house cast shows
  • We may also have specialty rehearsals as needed during the weeks leading up to the Faire.
  • 2013 Performance Dates:

  • July 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, 21, 27, 28; August 3, 4, 10, 11, 2013  (Saturdays and Sundays)

  • The Faire is also seeking stage hands, site crew, costumers, etc... anyone at any experience level is welcome to apply; contact the entertainment direction for more information or to set up an interview.
